One of my all time favorite patron interactions was somewhat similar when a patron phoned in asking if our "computer monitors let them look at things"?
I loved the one who came in to use the copier. She comes over and tells me that she put her money in and it didn't copy. She then asks me if I remembered to plug it in this morning when I got to work. I walked over to the copier and noticed that it was on. I pressed the start button. "And now you know the rest of the story." (Thanks Paul Harvey)
